The progress of digital technology has already formed new communicative possibilities to modern society. In addition to this newborn circumstance, also new needs have emerged for the educators who understand the necessity of keeping pace with technological progress. Citizens, as technological literates, should have the ability to locate, organize, comprehend, evaluate and produce information using digital technology. Education should contribute to the bridging of the digital gap, starting from primary teachers. With this research, we attempted to track and record the level of technological literacy of primary school teachers in Greece. Some parameters relating to this research, measure the access degree to the available Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), the knowledge offered at the teachers training programmes and finally the how this computer literacy is utilised in primary schools all over the country.
