Inquiring about teaching and learning chemical changes

Although chemical changes are taught in a number of grades in Science Education, students have many problems in both, the recognition and the interpretation of chemical changes. This work refers to the reasons behind these students’ difficulties and the difficulties in teaching chemical changes as well, seeking for solutions.
