Teaching Science to students with motor and orthopaedic disabilities: Planning and Adaptations

In this paper we studied the appropriate adaptations and modifications of the teaching of science so that the special needs of physically impaired students being satisfied. The definition of the adaptations and modifications has been done according to the view that handicapped students could acquire experiences in order to describe and understand the phenomena of the physical environment. The results of the literature review were used to describe the modifications of the teaching plan and the adaptations in the school laboratories in order to satisfy the educational needs of the physically impaired students.
