In the present project an alternative instructive approach of the subject "Sources of energy" with the storyline method is attempted. The basic concepts of storyline approach are the creation of a setting that is reported in concrete place and time, the characters (humans, animals or nature elements), a history from everyday life that stems from the connection of characters and a problem to be solved. Before the project begins, the teacher creates a flow chart to help him organize the frame of his activities. Using suitable key-questions he determines a line of episodes, the layout of which gives structure and cohesion to the storyline. He determines the objectives, based to the curriculum, proposes relative activities, attends to the organization of the class, and indicates the sources and the materials to be used. Since the development of the story emerges from the students' participation, it helps them acquire knowledge, skills and behaviors through a meaningful context.
