A proposal for assessment with digital information technologies in the Horizontal Educational Science Laboratory

Attempting to help the students of the Pedagogical Department of the University of Athens to obtain a unified and composed view of physical concepts and phenomena but also to create a science laboratory that take advantages of digital technology, we created the "Horizontal" Science Laboratory. In this paper it is presented the information digital technologies that were used in order to create a complete and extensive assessment e-portfolio, which consists of several data collected from the students' laboratory computers. Data such as photographs of the laboratory benches, snapshots of the computers screens, e-questionaires results (crosswords, e.t.c.) and certain information about the web-pages and the software that were used during the exercises by the students.
